Travis Simpkins Creates Portrait of Malcolm Rogers, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
Recently, artist Travis Simpkins created a portrait of Malcolm Rogers, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Rogers has served in his post as director of the MFA for 20 years, since 1994, and announced last year that he plans to soon retire from the position. Prior to his MFA directorship, Rogers was Deputy Director of the National Portrait Gallery in London. He is an expert on portraiture, and he has published extensively on the subject.
