Freddy Boo – The River Thames Exhibition

The River Thames was the theme for this years The Serco Prize for Illustration competition 2011. Freddy Boo’s ‘The Merry River’ is currently on show in an exhibition of 50 short listed illustrators displayed at the London Transport Museum 10 May – 3 June 2011. The competition is organized by the London Transport Museum, in partnership with the Association of Illustrators and sponsored by Secro.

London based illustrator Freddy Boo produces vibrant graphic illustrations, combining lively figures with simple shapes and patterns composed in bold compositions or humorous detail.
He currently illustrates a regular column for the National Geographic Traveller UK magazine. Freddy’s work has been recognised by the Association of Illustrators Images 35 Best of British Illustration, 3×3 Int’l ProShow No. 7 & 10, American Illustration 32 and The Serco Prize for Illustration exhibition 2011, 2012 at the London Transport Museum.
