This tribute is to American caricaturist Al Hirschfeld, renowned¬†for his black and white line drawings, “his pen would capture
the¬†entire world of entertainment and celebrity”. In researching Hirschfeld’d work I chose to interpret his caricature of the
the wonderful Louis Armstrong.

London based illustrator Freddy Boo produces vibrant graphic illustrations, combining lively figures with simple shapes and patterns composed in bold compositions or humorous detail.
