Kelly Murphy and Antoine Revoy‘s collaborative illustration “The Lodge”, from the horror short story compilation Haunted Houses (Are You Scared Yet?), was selected by The Society of Illustrators in the Book category of its 53rd annual competition. It will be featured in the society’s 2011 Annual Book and the original will be presented at the Book and Editorial Exhibit which will run from January 26 to February 19, 2011 at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators in New York. The show opening is on Friday, February 4, 2011.

Antoine Revoy

I am a french illustrator, art director and designer with a passion for drawing. Born in 1977 in Paris, France and raised in Tokyo, Japan, I was educated globally and have studied and worked in 7 countries spanning 3 continents, including Mexico, Spain, the United States, Ireland and China. This multicultural background informs my aesthetics and mental imagery.

Winner of 2 Gold Awards, from Graphis and the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. Received distinction from American Illustration, Freistil, Spectrum, the Society of Illustrators, 3×3 Magazine, Print Magazine and more.

Trained as an animator, I received a B.F.A. in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. I now teach illustration courses at my alma mater, RISD.
