I am from the eighth-largest (!) city in Louisiana. I now live in Brooklyn, which I blame on graduate school. My work focuses on a type of paranoia peculiar to children, in which any object that crosses his/her path can be given life and even malevolence with a mere flick of the mind. It's true that adults can't do this.
