Mutt Ink Illo for NPR 2011 Calendar

The piece was inspired by my yearly trip back home to tiny ol’ Auburn NY for Thanksgiving dinner with my parents and siblings.

I’d meander through the Pocono mountains late at night listening to Garrison Keillor and his well crafted, small town tales of Lake Wobegon, “Where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.”

The calendar goes on sale in June and will be full of incredible art form other artists.

PENS, PAGES, GEARS and GLUE. A primary focus of the Mutt Ink catalogue is the original illustration we create for adaptation to books, games & animated narratives, most of which are also original, uncommissioned works themselves. We write, build and program to bring the image to life and develop a complete experience for the audience.
