Gavin de Lint – New Illustration for sub-terrain magazine

I guess first job for sub-terrain magazine was liked, because they asked me to contribute again. This time, I got to do 2 illos for a story.  The illustration above is ‘Carcass‘. The other image is on my website here.  Pick up a copy of the magazine – the story for which these illos were done is fantastic.

Gavin was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. He graduated from the University of Regina in 1993 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Distinction, majoring in drawing and minoring in film. He continued his education by accepting a scholarship from the Quickdraw Animation Society in Calgary, Alberta, where he made his first short film, The Tale of the Steamin' Green Log. Upon completion of the film, he returned to Regina where he began his career as a graphic artist. Since 1995, he has made his living in the arts: animating for television; designing images for t-shirts; creating content for the internet and working as a fine artist and illustrator.
