Rosemary Knowles – Feminism

feminism

My new poster design for Don’t Panic was inspired by the vibrancy and glow of stained glass windows and Art Nouveau posters of women.  The fire rising represents the passion of the tenacious feminists that have brought about change, beginning with the Suffragettes. The octopus tentacles symbolise the constant adaption and flexibility of the term feminism; women should constantly question and re-evaluate their stance, and realise that feminism is a transnational discourse.
