Tiger Translate - Losing Culture

This was for Tiger Beer’s Tiger Translate artist series. It is about losing culture. It is inspired by the time I have spent in Beijing, which has lost lots of the rich culture that is still prevailant in the southern China where the cultural revolutions effects had less time to strip away the traditions and culture. No third person bio here! I was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to the U.S. at the age of 3. After being raised in forests of upstate New York I attended SUNY Albany as a fine arts major for 2 years. I then studied abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea for a year. Then I started over at the Fashion Insitute of Technology (F.I.T.) where I recieved my bachelors in Illustration. I’m into kung fu, low brow art, cooking, jazz, and drawing funny pictures.
