I have just finished my INKtober project for this year. It is the brainchild of Jake Parker (http://www.mrjakeparker.com) and it came up as a way of improving your inking skills. INKtober consists in uploading one drawing a day to your social networks for the month of October where ink is the main feature of the image. Most of the people taking part on it seem to have some background in animation and, as far as I can see, have a very specific use of ink.
I decided to use the month to set some time aside to explore not only my inking but also framing, composition and colour.
The result is not only thirty one pictures but almost three sketchbooks fill with ideas and experiments which I am sure will spark a lot of other work in the coming months.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I have doing it.
