LeBasse Projects :: Culver City is proud to announce ‘Soliloquy,’ a solo exhibition from artist Barron Storey.

Known for his cover of “Lord of the Flies”, Barron returns to Los Angeles showcasing his group of large scale off the page work. He has taught artists like Kent William, Jason Shawn Alexander, James Jean, and David Choe. While looking at Storey’s work, one can see the direct influences.

Charmagne Coe will be exhibiting paintings and drawings at “First Friday at The Pike” on February 3rd, 6pm – 9pm. 100 S. Mike’s Pike, Flagstaff, AZ. The Pike is an urban art space south of the tracks which features the works of emerging and established artists in Arizona.

On January 13th (7-10pm) , Gallery 1988 in will hold a group show featuring art inspired by Adult Swim programming. Scott Belcastro is one of the artists featured in the pop-culture themed show. Inspired by the fictional talk show host, Space Ghost, Scott illustrates the darker side of this superhero. Above is a sneak peek of his piece for the show.

Denise Gallagher had two pieces included in the Los Angeles Society of Illustrators’ Illustration West 50 Show. Her piece, “Electric Tide” received the Bronze Medal in the Entertainment/Visual Development category.
There will be an exhibit of the show at the Gallery Nucleus at the end of March, as well as an online exhibit.
