This is probably the hottest illustration I’ve made (in terms of subject matter and colors I have chosen). It’s for an article discussing (not always funny) consequences of sex with strangers.

Over the past two weeks I’ve been doing a sketch report on each event that I attended at Belfast’s 13th Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival. This sketch report, the second of four, is on the awesome funk band ‘The Haggis Horns’.

New work to appear in the upcoming edition of Italian art & culture mag DROME, for an article on band break-ups written by drummer Peijman Kouretchian. Bands are formed from different, independent whole parts, but the bond can become very tight and the separation can be painful.

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel The Last Tycoon, contains a scene where a Hollywood lot becomes flooded with water and two women escape it by standing on the head of an idol. The image has been banging around in my head for a few months and was the inspiration for this illustration.
