Prints for the People. Last Thursday saw the launch of Robert Shadbolt’s Salford & Manchester Themes & Variations exhibition in the gallery at Islington Mill. There are 30 prints of Robert’s illustrations in the exhibition. The exhibition runs until June 12th. We’ll be open to the public and there to chat and take orders for prints on Sunday 5th and Sunday 12th June 12-4pm,.

Salford Illustration supports and promotes artists engaged in the practice of illustration living and working in Salford. It is a platform for debate and a place to share information.We now have a years worth of work produced over the first year of the new illustration pathway on BA Graphic Design at Salford University. I am slowly posting examples of project work by students on the illustration pathway.

We May Vary is a showcase of work from thirty five graduates at the University of Salford – from the graphic design degree course. The work varies from illustration and typography to screen based work. All the work featured includes self initiated projects & commissioned work.
