Ema are traditional small Japanese wooden tablets with an image on one side, and a wish or a prayer on the other. To spread awareness, support and hope, artists are creating ema with their own positive heartfelt imagery for auction to benefit Artists Help Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund at Give2Asia.

The Jim Store

Here is my 8-Bit Calavera for a show at Ground Kontrol in Oregon. 40 artists will contribute to make a skull configuration on the wall. I got into this through The Autumn Society. I totally dig the Mario universe of characters and cool worlds and have been wanting to do an illustration with them for awhile now. I also dig skulls so this was double the fun.

It’s the season for all things creepy so head over to the Jim Store for fun spooky stuff. There are also cute items available as well. See? Jim is thinking of everyone.

The Jim Store is open for business. I like to create stuff that makes people smile. So the doors are open. Come on in. I hope to add to the shop regularly.

A Canadian broadcast company commissioned me to provide them with art for their VRAK.tv advertising. They used a background, finished illustration and various doodles to create an environment for the dancers.  More samples here.
