This is the first pass, and the revision illustration done for the story covering UFC champion Randy Couture for the first issue of Sinner Magazine in Las Vegas NV. The lights were dimmed and a camo skin was put on all the buildings releating to attributes of the story that covered Randy’s involvement with the troops and armed forces. This is a traditional illustration scanned and colored in photoshop cs2. The entire illustration was not used, but a cropped version of it, with a cut out version of Randy walking through the city as a giant.

Illustration done for threadless.com t-shirt design contest. This is a traditional illustration with flat colors for t-shirt printing done in photoshop cs2 (background color is the color of shirt printed on). This illustration was originally done to be a skateboard design, but the company folded before I could use the design.

Double page illustration for Las Vegas film festival published in Sinner Magazine’s first issue. This illustration was done start to finish in photoshop cs2. The centre fold illustration for the story covering the event. The illustration is comprised of a collage of the characters that were in the films shown at the festival. A large event for Las Vegas hosted by Dennis Hopper, and showing films with a variety of actors from Robin Williams and Steve Buscemi to independent actors and directors.

Of the styles I like to produce, I find myself leaning towards story-book illustrations. I have been fitting these pieces into my work schedule as I find the time. This is one of a series of sketches that revolve around a small boy at the edge of an ocean of stories waiting for his father’s return.
This was done using the digital paint style of colour rendering, working towards a rich colour and a whimsical feel to it. Rendered in photoshop CS2.

This is a traditional illustration rendered in photoshop CS2. My work is very comic oriented and usually has a lot of detail to make for a very engaging scene. I spend a lot of time working on my digital rendering to make a more painterly scene than the old school comic rendering that i learned by when working for Malibu and Marvel comics. This piece is a self promotional poster for my business name Social Deviant Culture.
