This image was made just as an experiment based on vectorial drawings and textures. It’s part of my personal work.
“El Cantarito” (The little pitcher)
The Loteria is a Mexican card game, similar to bingo but with images instead numbers. The loteria cards got images inspirated by typical figures, objects, fruits and characters of the Mexican culture such as: the watermelon, death, the brave man, the lady, the hand, and many others.
Weeks ago I was invited to participate into a project which consists of redesigning (free style) each of the loteria cards. The main goal is to publish an illustrated book and with the money make a donation for a girl´s orphanage. All the artists invited and involve into this project are women.

Artwork made for a billboard announcing the re-opening of Le Coffee Chot, a café located in San Andrés Cholula (México). I´ve designed the whole image for this café, including a mural, logo and many applications of it. The main theme is the Art Nouveau with a modern / digital taste.
Beatrix G de Velasco, Illustration Mexico

This illustration was made for Chakota Mag (Mexico City). The subject of the issue is “fantasy” a topic I like a lot but I didnt wanted to make something related with typical fantasy stuff such as elfs, and sorcerers, unicorns, etc… I got inspiration from the Edwardian Age and the mediums who appeared at that time. The medium was a link between spiritual and terrenal worlds, so that´s why I like to represent fantasy like this, as a medium connecting both sides of reality through the imagination. Imagination and mind are the realms where everything´s possible and if you can think about something you´re creating that.
I also added a wire and a conection to the ouija board just for fun.
for Le Coffee Chot (Cholula, Mexico)
This image was made for bottles of red wine at the café Le Coffee Chot. I have designed the whole of the image, logo included, a mural and a large format illustration used as a facade for the building.
All the concept of the café is vintage, art nouveau to be more accurate, so I made this drawing following that style.
