Original oil painting entitled “The Flight of the Pajama Dragon.” Dreams are where the good stuff lies (or flies, in this particular instance) and I enjoy capturing that. Typically my oil paintings are loud, brash and very abstract, so I decided to go a different route and paint closer to my illustration style, which tends to be more detailed and literal. I also experimented with saturated colors, which is a departure from pencil drawing style paired with washed-out color. I was very pleased with the outcome!
Two 5×7 canvases
