Two artists, one from the Missouri the other from California combine their efforts, heavy machinery and hours of work to create a unique letterpress poster…
First we layered multiple colors of wood and metal type to create a rich background composition. The Sugar Skull design of David Lozeau combines Carnival, Day of the Dead, and tattoo imagery was painstaking cut into 3 separate lino-blocks and printed on top. This poster is limited to a run of 200 and is signed by both artists.
